Arash Saeediyan

Musician and instructor of Persian percussion instruments (Daf, Tonbak, Kouzeh (Udu)) plus Hang and Cahon, Music Theory and Persian Solfège

B.A. in Persian music from Art University of Tehran

Arash Saidian started the music with percussion instruments and continued with Oud, Setar, Tanbur, Dotar and many Persian instruments.

He trained by great masters such as Maestro Mohammad Reza Lotfi, Maestro Hossein Mehrani, and Maestro Mohammad Reza Ebrahimi.

He participated in numerous festivals and concerts inside and outside Iran  as the musician with various ensembles such as “Hamnavazan e Khamoush”, “Naghsh”, “Mahtabru”, “Kohan; including:

Joint performance with the great master of Oud in the world, Maestro “Naseer Shame”, under Saeidian’s direction at the Neshadeh Music Festival in Algeria, In 2015, participation in yearly Fajr Festivals, participation in the Iranian Classical Music Festival, and dozens of other concerts and festivals.

He collaborated with Maestro Majid Derakhshani in the Sun group and recorded his albums.

He has also collaborated on producing many albums as a musician or composer, including Sahharwani, Norouz Saba, Shabby, Sarkhosh, Narang, and others.

He also won the award of the best album of traditional music for “Saharkhani” album at Iraj Bastami’s festival in 2014.

Also, he has been teaching Persian music for over 17 years until now in various academies and recently in Gilan university.
